I had fun on FaceBook last night

Since I was up nearly all night last night and because I have not yet gone back to TV (which used to be my whole life)

I went on FaceBook.

The housing project I grew up in Flushing is called Electchester, and I found a group on FaceBook of everyone who grew up in my housing project.

So we had the same childhood and went to the same public school.

Maybe because I have no family now, both my parents are in Heaven, my kid brother and my cousins rarely call me. 

I found it very satisfying to spend all night reading the memories of those who grew up at same time and in same place I did, all our shared experiences.

Altho I don't know any of them and they don't know me.

Still I felt like I was connecting to my roots.

An experience I have not had in a long time, because it has been so long since I have had any family in my life.

Also it was pleasurable because it was all about childhood which is a time of fun.

So all the memories were fun memories.

Maybe this is what I always hope will happen when I try to reconnect with my earliest friends, and it never happens.

And yet it happened all night for me last night with these people I never knew just because all their memories were the same as mine.

I got to re-experience my kidhood which is always fun.
